I just wanted to say that I think Christmas 2008 will be a great one, despite the economic turmoil that we are currently experiencing. Please understand, I am not minimizing the hardships that the slowing economy has created for so many of us. Significantly cutting back on my budget, and including giving to others are definite priorities for me this year. I am also supporting our locally owned businesses, where I have recently found great unique gifts at very reasonable prices.
Let’s not cut back on LOVE, JOY and helping one another through these tough times. After all, I think that is what the Holidays are truly about. So whatever you spend or do not spend, I encourage you to have a Happy Festive Holiday Season, and to celebrate together the season’s true meaning.
